The US World Cup squad met President Obama, President Clinton and Vice President Biden at the White House yesterday for an official send off as they depart for the World Cup.President Obama had been planning on attending the event in South Africa, but sadly fears by the South African security team that his protection would spreadtheir resources too thin meant it was deemed it unsafe; so VP Biden is going instead! I guess he's expendable!! The Vice Presidents get all the rough deals don't they? Did the Queen give Capello and the English boys a tea party at the Palace??
